Payment & Office Policies
Cost
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different budgets. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and we will file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We work hard to make dental care affordable and to make sure that you realize your insurance benefits. Cancellation of appointments without sufficient notice will result in an office visit fee.
Fees
In an effort to keep fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:
- Your estimated portion of a dental procedure must be paid for at the time of service. As a courtesy on large cases, ½ the fee can be paid at the start of a procedure, and the remaining portion at the final visit.
- You are responsible for any portion of a dental fee that is not covered by your insurance. Please be aware that we can only estimate what your insurance will pay, insurance companies have the right to change what they will pay.
- For your convenience, we accept payment by VISA and MASTERCARD.
- Financing is available through Care Credit and The Lending Club. No interest financing is available.
Cancellation Policy
We understand situations arise when you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To do so, we request you notify us at least 48 hours in advance. This allows us to offer your appointment slot to another patient on our waiting list.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of $100. No-shows/ same day cancellations without prior notification will also result in a $100 missed appointment fee.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy, as it helps us maintain efficient scheduling and service quality for all our patients. In case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us directly to discuss your situation. We may be able to waive the cancellation fee at our discretion.
Insurance
If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and patients are responsible to the doctor. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
