Enhanced Smiles welcomes new clients
Your First Examination
Your first visit typically includes a detailed oral examination, combined with taking x-rays that will allow us to view the structure of your jaw, the position of your teeth, any malformed roots, and tooth decay.
Your Medical History
The initial visit also involves getting your medical history.
When you share your medical history with the doctor, be sure to provide complete, up-to-date information on your health. Inform us if you have experienced recent hospitalization or surgery, or if you have recently been ill.
Please go to the Patient Forms page to download & fill out the relevant Adult or Child Patient Form to bring with you.
Also bring the names, doses, and frequency of any medications you are taking — whether prescription or over-the-counter products — and your physician's contact information. Inform the doctor of any recent changes to your health or medications.
This information will help the doctor to understand your overall heath condition, to be able to select the safest and most effective method of treatment for you.
Consultation
After the doctor has evaluated your oral condition & your records, they will discuss any follow-up treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.
Regular Checkups
Regular checkups typically take 20 to 40 minutes. They should typically be booked every six months & should also be scheduled with any cleaning required to maintain your optimal dental hygiene.
Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only & we will always try to book a time that works best for your schedule. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
